7.1

Making and checking presettings

The following presettings need to be made and observed:

Set the bus coupler address(es)

Observe Valve address assignment

Observe Input/sensor address assignment

7.1.1 Set the bus coupler address(es)
The following points must be taken into consideration when
assigning the address(es):
It is not possible to assign addresses twice in the AS-i bus.

The bus couplers always have the A and B address in AS-i
W
protocol 2.1.
How to set the bus address(es):
1. Connect the AS-i bus connection (PWR) to an AS-i
addressing device via the addressing cable (see „Spare
parts and accessories" on page 81).
2. Assign the address in the areas 1 to 31.
3. Document the address in the label area of the module and,
if necessary, the cable socket label.
Default setting for all participants: address 0.
