Installing the mowing blade
Risk of injury!
Before installing, check the mowing
blade for damage (notches or
cracks) and wear.
Worn or damaged mowing blades
must be replaced.
Replace the retaining washer each
time the blade is installed.
Additionally secure the blade
fastening screw with Loctite 243.
Observe the specified torque when
tightening the blade fastening
screw, as the secure attachment of
the cutting tool depends on this.
● Install the mowing blade with the curved
edges/vanes pointing upwards
(towards the mowing deck).
Attach mowing blade (1), screw in blade
fastening screw(2) with retaining
washer(3) (observe convexity of retaining
washer) and tighten to the specified
torque.

14.8 Checking the installation position
of the mowing deck
Maintenance interval:
Every 50 operating hours or as required
(e.g. following severe impacts to the
mowing deck or a poor cut).
Uniform tyre pressure is a
prerequisite for checking the
correct installation position.
Therefore check the tyre pressure
of all the tyres and adjust if
necessary before checking the
installation position. (
The mowing deck is in the correct
installation position when it is slightly lower
at the front than the rear.
● Park the machine on level ground.
● Stop the engine. (
12.3)
● Engage the parking brake. (
● Remove the ignition key and keep it in a
safe place.
● Select the lowest cutting level. (
Measure the difference in height A.
A = 10 mm

14.9 Tyre pressure
Correct tyre pressure is an
important prerequisite for alignment
of the mowing deck and
consequently for achieving a clean
cutting pattern.
Moreover, the turf may be damaged

by the tyre studs in the case of
excessively high tyre pressure.
