4) Premere la paletta (14, Fig. A) sul pneumatico agendo sul
pedale (3, Fig. A). Ripetere l'operazione su tutta la circonferen-
za della ruota e su ambo i lati, fino al completo distacco dei
talloni dal cerchio.
ATTENZIONE: lo smontagomme S 432 è dotato di una paletta
stallonatrice a doppio profilo. L'operatore può scegliere, in base
al tipo di ruota da stallonare,il profilo che ritiene più idoneo. Per
variare il lato di stallonaturadella paletta agire nel modo seguen-
te:
1) Tirare il pomolo (vedi Fig.D/2) in modo da liberare la paletta.
2) Ruotare manualmente la paletta di 180°.
3) Rilasciare il pomolo per bloccare la paletta nella nuova posi-
zione.
E' inoltre possibile variare l' angolo di incidenza della paletta sul-
la ruota regolando la vite (1 Fig. D/3).
Raggiunta la condizione desiderata, serrare il controdado (2
Fig. D/3).
N.B.:L'angolazione standard della paletta si ottiene regolando
la vite ad una sporgenza (A fig. D/3) di 22 mm.
BLOCCAGGIO RUOTA
11.2
1) Controllare che sul cerchione non siano presenti vecchi con-
trappesi di equilibratura.

2 ) Spalmare accuratamente i bordi del pneumatico con l'ap-
posito grasso.
3) La ruota può essere bloccata sull'autocentrante indifferen-
temente, sia con le griffe all'esterno del cerchio che con le
griffe all'interno.
Durante il bloccaggio non tenere MAI le
mani sotto il pneumatico.
Per un corretto bloccaggio posiziona-
re la ruota esattamente al centro del

piatto autocentrante (2, Fig. A).
Controllare che la ruota venga
correttamente bloccata dalle 4
griffe.

BLOCCAGGIO ESTERNO (ruote da 10" a 20")
Premendo il pedale (5, Fig. A) in posizione intermedia, posizio-
nare le 4 griffe di bloccaggio (6, Fig. A), in modo che il riferi-
mento sull'autocentrante, sia circa in corrispondenza del dia-
metro del pneumatico stampigliato sullo scorrevole.
Appoggiare la ruota sull'autocentrante e tenendo premuto il

cerchione verso il basso, premere a fondo il pedale (5, Fig.A)

per bloccare la ruota.
4) Push the blade (14, Fig. A) into the tyre by depressing pedal
(3, Fig. A). Repeat this process at different points around the tyre
and on both sides until the beads are completely loosened.
ATTENTION: the S 432 tyre changer is equipped with a double-
contour bead-breaking blade. The operator can chhosez the
contour which he tkink is more suitable to the type. To change
the contour of the blade for bead-breaking follow these steps:
1) Pull the knob (see Fig. D/2) as to set the blade free.
2) Rotate manually the blade by 180 ° .
3) Release the knob and lock the blade to its new position.
Furthermore, it is possible to change the angle of the bead
breaker blade on the wheel by adjusting the screw (1 Fig. D/3).
After having reached the required position, tighten the lock nut
(2 Fig. D/3).
N.B.:To obtain standard angle of the bead breaker blade, ad-
just the screw at the right protrusion of 22 mm. (A Fig. D/3).
WHEEL CLAMPING
11.2
1) Check to make sure there are no weights on the rim.
2) Apply tyre lubricant on the bead.
3) The rim can be clamped on the table top from the inside or
the outside.
When clamping a tyre, never have your hands under
the tyre.
To clamp the tyre correctly, position the
wheel exactly at the centre of the ta-
ble top (2, Fig. A).
Check to be certain that the wheel
is correctly clamped by all four
grippers.
RIM CLAMPED FROM THE OUTSIDE (wheels from 10-20")
Press the pedal (5, Fig. A) to the middle position to position the
4 sliding clamps (6, Fig. A) so that the reference on the table
top is more or less in line with the tyre diameter stamped on the
sliding clamp.
Place the wheel on the table top and push down on the wheel
while depressing the pedal (5, Fig. A) all the way to clamp the
wheel.
