4.1 CONTROL PANEL
The following operations can be carried out from the control panel:
4.1.1 LIFTING
• Check to make sure the Emergency cut-off switch (19 Fig. 2) is in the raised position (if necessary, rotate it)
• Press the RAISE button (21 fig. 3) until the desired height is reached.
Upon release of the raise button, the elevator performs the phase of AUTOMATIC POSITIONING of the trolleys, thus
permitting them to descend and the mechanical safety devices to be engaged.
Important: The AUTOMATIC STANDING sequence, will not work and will be excluded, releasing the UP
pushbutton (22 Fig. 2) when the lower corner of the carriage (Fig. 14) is not higher than 20 cm from the
floor. This will allow the immediate carriages stop during the delicate starting phase of lift raising.
WARNING: Before starting the raising operation, read carefully the instructions of chapter 4.2 LIFTING
OPERATIONS.
4.1.2 LOWERING
Press the DOWN push-button (23 Fig. 2) bringing down the saddles to the desired height.
•
In pressing the LOWER button (22 Fig. 3), the trolleys are raised for a short distance, thus permitting
the mechanical safety devices to unhook themselves, and will then continue descent for as long as the
button is held down. • Upon release of the LOWER button, the elevator performs the phase of AUTOMATIC
POSITIONING of the trolleys, thus permitting them to descend and the mechanical safety devices to be
engaged.
IMPORTANT: The AUTOMATIC STANDING sequence, will not work and will be excluded, releasing the
DOWN pushbutton (23 Fig. 2), when the carriage (Fig. 14), lowering from up to down, has reached a height
of approx. 20 cm from the floor.
