5.0 MAINTENANCE
In the continuation are listed the different maintenance operations. A steady compliance with the here included instructions will grant regular
performances, working economy and a long lift lifetime.
CAUTION: Regular deadlines to carry out maintenance are only mentioned as an indication and refer to standard conditions of use. Any
variations, such as a more or less dusty environment and frequency in use deeply influence such times. If the conditions are more severe,
maintenance must be carried out more often. When replacing the oil use the same type as before.
5.1 CHECKING OF THE SAFETY DEVICES
WARNING. The following operations must be carried out by unloaded lift.
5.1.1 CURRENT PRESENCE LED
1) Turn the emergency cut-off switch (19 Fig. 2) as indicated by the arrow and bring it in raised position.
2) Push the reset/ON button (20 Fig. 2).
3) Check that the current presence led (21 Fig. 2) is illuminated.
5.1.2 MECHANICAL ANTIFALL SAFETIES
1) Lift the saddles completely by pressing the UP pushbutton (22 Fig. 2)
2) Released the UP pushbutton (22 Fig. 2) and completed the phase of AUTOMATIC STANDING, check the inserting of the safeties after
having removed the protection casings placed on the outer side of each column and pulling towards outside the two wedge control
brackets (1 Fig. 23) connected to the electromagnet. If the brackets are blocked, this means that the safeties (2 Fig. 23) are inserted.
5.1.3 SADDLES NON-ALIGNEMENT SAFETY DEVICE
Lift the saddles approx. 1 metre from the bottom and proceed as follows:
Checking of saddle P1
1) Insert under the saddle P1 a piece of wood (6 fig. 14) in order to block the lowering of the saddle.
2) Press the "DOWN " pushbutton (23 Fig. 2). When the saddle P1 rests on the wood block, also the saddle P2 should stop immediately
afterwards.
DANGER: should the saddle P2 not stop, check the limit switch FC2 (1 fig. 15) fixed on the cylinder end of column P1. The activation of
the FC2 limit switch is of the utmost importance for the correct lift operating safety. Check therefore the limit switch correct position and
function (1 fig. 15) before resuming the normal use of the lift.
Checking of saddle P2
1) Insert under the saddle P2 a piece of wood (6 fig. 14) in order to block the lowering of the saddle.
2) Press the "DOWN " pushbutton (23 Fig. 2). When the saddle P2 rests on the wood block, also the saddle P1 should stop immediately
afterwards.
If the saddle P1 does not stop, check the shut valve (7 hydraulic diagram), 2 Fig. 15. If necessary, clean it with compressed air - if it does
not work, replace it.
5.1.4 RUBBER PADS
Check their good state and, if worn out or broken, replace them.
5.1.5 EMERGENCY/OFF BUTTON
1) Turn the emergency/OFF button (19 Fig. 2) as indicated by the arrow, and so bring it in raised position.
2) Push either the "UP" or "DOWN" button.
3) Simultaneously push the emergency/OFF button (19 Fig. 2): the saddles must stop.
