4.1.3 EMERGENCY SELECTOR SWITCH / OFF
• Turning the Emergency Selector Switch (18 Fig. 2) to the "0" (OFF) position, the lift stops functioning completely.
• This operation must always be done before approaching the working area under the lift.
• Turning the Emergency Selector Switch to the "1" (ON) position, the functions of the lift are enabled.
electrical feed circuit, there is no risk because the HOIST is equipped with sectioning devices of the electrical feed that isolate the machine.
Furthermore, the raise and lower controls are of the "operator present" type (manually maintained action). Therefore, in the case of a fault in
the electrical feed circuit it is not possible to switch the machine on, to impede the stopping of the machine if the command has already been
given by the selector switch, that the load can fall or a drop in the efficiency of the protection devices. The parts that move during the raise or
lower movements are therefore always stopped if there is a fault in the electrical feed circuit. On resetting the electrical feed circuit there are
no risk situations because each movement of the hoist must be actuated manually by the operator using the "manually maintained action"
control selector switch.
WARNING: It is compulsory to turn the Emergency Selector Switch (18 Fig. 2) to the "0" (OFF) position before entering the work zone underneath
the lift.
WARNING: Before leaving the hoist unattended, the operator MUST turn the emergency selector switch (18 Fig. 2) to the 0 (OFF) position and
mechanically block the rotating movement by inserting a lock (NOT supplied as standard equipment with the hoist) in the appropriate hole.

4.1.5 CURRENT PRESENCE LED

• The current presence led (17 Fig.2) is illuminated when the reset/ON button activates all lift control functions.
WARNING: Do not appreach the lift when the current presence led (POWER) is on.
4.1.6 EXCLUSION OF AUTOMATIC PARKING
Contemporarely pressing the Exclusion Automatic Parking Button (23 Fig. 2) and the UP (21 Fig. 2) or DOWN (22 Fig. 2) buttons, the operation
of automatic parking is avoided.
This function will remain active for approximately 7 seconds, after which it will return to the automatic standing status.
WARNING: Do not approach hoist when the current presence led (POWER) is on.
4.2 LIFTlNG OPERATIONS
Follow these points:
• It is mandatory to place the motor-vehicles on the lift in a way that the weight is well distributed and centered; the doors must remain
closed; no objects shall protrude out of the motor-vehicle's outside dimensions; the motor-vehicle's center of gravity must fall within the
four rests; when some of the motor-vehicle's parts are disassembled, the center of gravity may move.
• It is forbidden to overload the lift. The use of the lift is permitted only and solely to raise loads within the maximum permissible capacity
that is listed in the "LOAD DISTRIBUTION" table (Fig. 5) and placing the vehicles on the lift in such a way as to comply, at the same time,
with following regulations contained in the european norm EN 1493:1998:
1. The weight of the vehicle to be lifted, represented by the addition of the 2 loads Q1 and Q2 (see the symbols in Fig. 5), must not
exceed the maximum lift capacity (Qmax); i.e. (Q1+Q2) ≤ Qmax
2. The maximum load Q1 (Q1max) placed indifferently on the short or on the long arms, must not exceed 3330 Kg as shown in Fig. 5,
i.e. (Q1max ≤ 3330 Kg)
• AGM Srl accepts no liability for injury or damage to persons, animals and belongings as a result of negligence to observe the above
instructions and/or for any use of the lift that is not described in this manual
• Push the Emergency cut-off switch (19 Fig. 2)
• Check that the arms are turned in order not to hinder the entrance of the vehicle between the columns.
• Place the vehicle so that it is positioned and cerntered in relation to the lift columns.
• Turn the arms and take out the extensions so that the rubber pads are placed at the points provided by the car manufacturer for the vehicle
lifting.
WARNING: Before raising the vehicle you must always check that the distribution of the loads in comparison to the vehicle's mass
comply with the LOAD DISTRIBUTION table (Fig. 5). If the values compared do not fall within the limits of the LOAD DISTRIBUTION table, do
not raise the vehicle.
• Turn the Emergency cut-off switch (19 Fig.2) as indicated by the arrow and bring it in raised position.
• Push the reset/ON button (20 Fig. 2).
• Lift the vehicle about 10 cm.
• Check the correst inserting of the rubber pads.
• Check the vehicle stability.
• Lift the vehicle.
• Push the "Up" button (22 Fig. 2 -see 4.1.1-).
• Push and lock the Emergency cut-off switch (19 Fig. 2) before entering the lift area.
