■ Place material container in pressure cup [1-4].

■ Screw on pressure cup [1-4] / [1-7] / [1-13].
■ Supply pressure to the pressure spray gun.
9.5. Safety valve
Depending on the variant, the pressure spray gun is equipped with a
safety valve to prevent excess pressure. This automatically bleeds the
pressure spray gun starting from a pressure of 145 psi when using an
aluminum pressure cup or from a pressure of 116 psi when using a plas-
tic pressure cup.
Danger!
Risk of injury due to tampering with safety valve
Tampering with the safety valve will result in improper bleeding of the
pressure spray gun and could cause the pressure cup to explode.
→ Any modifications made to the safety valve are prohibited and there-
fore unauthorized.

10. Maintenance and Repair

Danger!
Risk of injury due to loose components
Components could unexpectedly come loose when performing main-
tenance work on a pressure spray gun that is connected to the com-
pressed air circuit.
→ Disconnect the pressure spray gun from the compressed air supply
prior to performing any maintenance work.
Replacement parts are available for repair work (see Chap. 14).
10.1. Replacing the quick connect coupling
Information!
The quick connect coupling is secured to the mixing cap with a thread-
lock adhesive. The quick connect coupling can be removed more easily
by heating it with a heat gun.
Removing the quick connect coupling
■ Unscrew and remove the quick connect coupling [2-4] from the mixing
cap [2-5] while simultaneously holding the mixing cap in place to pre-
