Installation and operating instructions SIE - DIE
ESM/SSM:
• A collective fault signal (SSM) can be connected to the master for a
central control centre.
• When doing this, the contact may only be made to the master.
• The display is for the whole unit.
• This signal can be programmed at the IR-Monitor (or using the PDA)
as an individual fault signal (ESM) or collective fault signal (SSM)
(menu <5.1.5.0>).
• The contact must be made to each pump for individual fault signals.
EBM/SBM:
• A collective run signal (SBM) can be connected to the master for a
central control centre.
• When doing this, the contact may only be made to the master.
• The display is for the whole unit.
• This signal can be programmed at the master (or using the IR-Moni-
tor/PDA) as an individual run signal (EBM) or a collective run signal
(SBM) (menu <5.1.6.0>).
• The functions – "Readiness", "Operation", "Mains-On" – from EBM/
SBM can be set at <5.7.6.0> on the master.
• The contact must be made to each pump for individual run signals.
A particular pump can be generally enabled or disabled for operation
at menu 5.1.4.0. A disabled pump cannot be used in operation until
the disabling has been manually lifted.
The setting can be made at each pump directly or over the infrared
interface.
During commissioning, the pump will work with the works settings.
• The service menu deals with the setting and converting of individual
pumps; see Section 8 "Operation" on page 59.
• To correct malfunctions, also see Section 11 "Faults, causes and
remedies" on page 78.
CAUTION! Danger of material damage!
Modifying the settings for the differential pressure sensor can lead
to malfunctions. The works settings are configured for the sup-
plied Salmson differential pressure sensor.
• Default value: input In1 = 0-10 volts, pressure value correction
= ON
• If the supplied Salmson differential pressure sensor is used, these
settings must be kept.
Modifications are only needed if another differential pressure sen-
sor is used.
The only settings that are possible at the slave are "Extern off" and
"Disable/enable pump".
