WARNING:
Unreadable and missing warning labels must be replaced immediately.
Do not use the tyre changer if one or more labels are missing.
Do not add any object that could prevent the operator from seeing the labels.
Use the code in this table to order labels you need.
Once the connections described above have been made (See "Installation"), check to make
sure the tyre changer works properly by carrying out the following procedures:
1) Press pedal (1, Fig. D) down to its middle position (see Fig. E1): the table top (2, Fig.
D) should turn clockwise at the low speed;
press the pedal all the way down (see Fig. E1): the table top should turn clockwise at high
speed;
pull the pedal up (see Fig. E1): the table top should turn anticlockwise.
2) Open the bead loosener arm (4, Fig. D) manually and depress the bead loosener pedal (3,
Fig. D): the bead loosener will close.
3) Depress the pedal all the way down (5, Fig. D): the four clamps (6, Fig. D) on
the turntable will open. When the pedal is depressed again, the clamps should close.
4) Depress the pedal (7, Fig. D) to bring the horizontal arm (11, Fig. D) to its
"non-working" position.
Depress the pedal again to bring the horizontal arm to its "working" position again.
5) Move the button (Fig. E2) to its middle position (B): the vertical arm (10, Fig.
E) moves down to facilitate placing the head against the rim edge.
Press the button (Fig. E2) down (C): the working arms (10-11, Fig. D) lock simul-
taneously and the head automatically moves 2 mm away from the rim edge (see
chapter on demounting).
Press the button (Fig. E2) down (A) from inside: the working arms unlock simultane-
ously and the vertical arm lifts (10, Fig. D).
6) Check that a drop of oil drops into the lubricator glass cup (12, Fig. D) after every two or three movements of the footpedals (3 or
5, Fig. D).
Oil feed may be regulated by means of the lubricator adjusting screw (see Fig. E3).
7) Push the control lever (15, Fig. D) downwards: this should make the leverless mount hook (see Fig. E4) move; by pulling the control
lever up the hook should go back to the rest position (see Fig. E5).
