2.3 Fundamental responsibilities of the manufacturer

The responsibilities of the manufacturer for the safety, reliability and usability of the device is
invalidated if:
•
assembly, extensions, changes or repairs are carried out by persons have not been authorised
to so by the manufacturer,
•
the electric installation of the relevant room does not correspond with the relevant
specifications,
•
the device is not used and/or installed when observing the operating instructions,
•
components of the part of the device or parts of other manufacturers are replaced or even
exchanged.
We explicitly inform you that original parts not supplied by us as well as those for the device at
hand have not been tested or approved by us.
The installation or use of such products can therefore change the properties of the device and
impair safety. The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from the use of non-original
parts and accessories.
The manufacturer guarantee expires in the event of unauthorised disassembly or incorrect
assembly of the components intended for the IP protection class.
Please note that the electric adjustment drive is not a toy for children!
Unsupervised actuation of the drive is forbidden.
Incorrect use of the application areas of the single drive agreed upon and approved by the
manufacturer and customer (medical device manufacturer) is also unauthorised!
