6.5.4 Main performance features

The essential feature of the lifting column is the adherence to the set position.
With a corresponding actuation, the lifting column should cary out a linear lifting movement with
a speed of 8 to 13 mm/s at the following loads:
•
· Pressure load up to 3000 N
•
· Tensile load up to 750 N
•
· Torque load up to 200 Nm
In order to ensure basic safety and the essential performance characteristics of the lifting column,
the technical safety inspection of the lifting column must be carried out every 12 months in
accordance with DIN EN 62353. The technical safety inspection may only be carried out by
authorized specialist personnel.
Under the influence of EM disturbance variables, the lifting column height adjustment can be
restricted at short notice. In this case, we recommend removing the lifting column from the EM
interference area or eliminating the source of interference.
