9.3 Diagnosis mode C
Diagnosis mode C tests the travel speed or engine speed signal.
➤ Press and hold down the SET button.
➤ Start the engine.
➤ When the engine is running, let go of the SET button.
➤ Drive your car at a speed of around 50 km/h.
➤ Switch on the speed controller using the ON/OFF button on the control
element.
✓ The LED in the electronic module flashes and an audible signal sounds
once per second.
➤ If not, start setting and adjustment mode again.
➤ To quit diagnosis mode, turn off the ignition with the car at a standstill.

Setting and teaching MagicSpeed

In setting and teaching mode you can optimally adjust the most important
parameters of the speed regulator for almost any car. For an overview, see
the illustration on page 72.
You can make the following setting in the three setting and teach modes:
Control range for the travel speed or engine speed signal (PPM setting)
Sensitivity (INIT mode)
Control sensitivity (GAIN mode)
You can set the basic parameters while you drive. This enables you to fine-
tune the control parameters individually and thus attain the most precise
setting.
You can make these settings without removing the control element, because
they are done electronically. The set parameters are stored permanently in
the electronic module.
