Setting and teaching MagicSpeed
Note
If you hear more than one signal, repeat the procedure.
➤ Drive your car at a speed of 70 km/h.
➤ Press the SET button if you are using the blue wire as the signal input, or
➤ ... press the RES button if you are using the yellow wire as the signal
input.
✓ The speed regulator switches on and switches to INIT mode. In this mode
you can set the activation characteristics.
➤ If the speed controller reacted to the speed too slowly, press the SET
button to increase the value.
➤ If the speed controller reacted to the speed too quickly, so that it
overreacts, press the RES button to decrease the value.
✓ You will hear a signal each time you press the button.
➤ Press the brake to save the set values (PPM, INIT and GAIN).
✓ Normally, your speed controller should be ideally adjusted for your car.

Setting the control range for the travel speed and
engine speed signals (PPM setting)
If you are not happy with the control range of the speed regulator, you can
make the PPM setting manually.
➤ Start setup mode (chapter "Starting setup mode" on page 73).
➤ To set the control range , apply the brake and hold it down.
➤ Press the RES button twice.
✓ You will hear a low-pitched signal each time you press the button.
➤ Release the brake.
✓ You will hear two high-pitched signals.
Note
If you do not hear two signals, repeat the procedure.
➤ To set the PPM value, drive the car at a speed of 35 to 40 km/h.
