➤ With the brake applied, press the RES button four times.
✓ You will hear a low-pitched signal each time you press the button.
➤ Release the brake.
✓ You will hear four audible signals.
Note
If you do not hear four signals, repeat the procedure.
➤ To set the gain GAIN value, drive the vehicle at medium speed.
➤ Press the SET button to switch on the speed regulator.
➤ Press the SET button again to increase the GAIN value or
➤ ... press the RES button to decrease the GAIN value.
✓ You will hear a signal each time you press the button.
The following section describes how to best set the GAIN value:
➤ Drive you car at moderate speed.
➤ Press the SET button to switch on the speed regulator.
➤ Switch off control mode by applying the brake.
➤ Slow down the car by 25 to 30 km/h.
➤ Press the RES button to recall the last saved speed.
➤ Now watch the speedometer.
If the speed increases to above the last saved speed, you must decrease
the GAIN value by pressing the RES button again.
If the speed controller returns to the last saved speed very slowly, press
the SET button to increase the GAIN value.
➤ Press the brake to save the set value.
✓ You will hear two high-pitched signals.
➤ To check the setting, press the RES button.
➤ If you are not happy with the setting, adjust the GAIN value as described
above.
➤ After making the setting, press the brake to save the value.
