Preparing the cabling and the plug
connector
1.
Only use suitable cables with the supplied plug con-
nectors or other approved plug connectors.
2.
Observe the product-specific specifications regarding
the direct current connection and the alternating current
connection in the Technical data (→ Page 48).
3.
Observe the manufacturer details and routing regula-
tions for the cabling and plug connections.
4.
During the installation, avoid placing tension or pres-
sure on the plug connections and the cabling.
5.
Bend cables at a plug connection at least 4 cm down-
stream of the cable outlet from the plug connection or a
connection box.
6.
Run the connection cables for the components that are
to be connected to the underside of the product.
7.
Shorten the connection cables according to require-
ments.
8.
When installing on an external wall, use only weather-
resistant and splash-proof data cables.
9.
When installing on an external wall, use only weather-
resistant and splash-proof plug connections.
10. When installing on an external wall, always protect un-
used data connections using caps.

Preparing the alternating current connection

Danger!
Risk of death from electric shock!
Never use plug connectors to interrupt the
power supply.
Attaching the alternating current cable to the plug
connector 220 V - 240 V
1.
Only use the supplied alternating current plug (Wieland)
or another plug connector that has been approved by
the manufacturer of the product for the plug connection.
2.
If the supplied alternating current plug is not currently
open, read the information on Opening the alternating
current plug (→ Page 36).
3.
If required, undo the union nut .
4.
Slide the housing over the insulated alternating current
cable.
5.
Do not damage the insulation on the inner conductors
when you strip the outer sheathing from the cable.

Strip the insulation from the outer sheathing and the
inner conductors in accordance with the following table
and as shown in the figure:
