Using the web portal

In the web portal, you can display and evaluate the current
status, yields and measured values for your photovoltaic
installation in a web browser.
Note
Data transferred over a public network is not pro-
tected against potential access by third parties.
Transferring data over a public network can incur
additional costs.
Find out about the costs that may be incurred before
using a public network.
You use public networks at your own risk.
If you would like to receive further information about the
web portal, ask customer service.
Connect the Ethernet port of your inverter to an Internet
router (RJ45 patch cable).
If the inverter does not automatically connect to the In-
ternet router, manually set the inverter so that it can be
used with the Internet router under Main menu → Set-
tings → Network.
If the inverter is still not connected to the Internet router,
ask a competent person, if required.
Open the website https://auropower.vaillant.com for re-
gistering in an Internet browser.
Condition: You have still not created a user account.
Create a user account.
At the end of the registration process, you will receive
a confirmation e-mail.
Log into the web portal using your e-mail address and
password.
Condition: The competent person has already registered the installation for
you in their user account and sent the access to you via e-mail., The e-mail
address that you have given your competent person must be the same e-
mail address that you used to register on the website.
You can now see the inverter in your user portal.
You can then decide whether or not your installer should
continue to have access to your installation.
Condition: The installation has not yet been registered.
Add your photovoltaic installation to your user account
(+ New installation). To do this, you require the serial
number for the inverter.
From time to time, check the communication between the
inverter and the portal. To do this, check whether the cur-
rent data and the data for the last few days is available.
If you have any questions about using the web portal,
use the help page in the web portal, or ask customer
service if required.

Troubleshooting

Use the table in the appendix to eliminate the fault.
5.1

What to do if there is visible damage

1.
If any components in the photovoltaic installation are
visibly damaged, e.g. by a storm or lightning strike, de-
energise the inverter immediately (→ Page 8).
2.
Observe the information on care and maintenance
(→ Page 7) (Validity: Except Great Britain).
5.2

Eliminating the fault

1.
Faults are displayed by event messages in the display.
2.
Read the event message in the display and, if required,
take measures in accordance with the Overview of the
event messages and troubleshooting (→ Page 15).
Note
If you acknowledge an event display
(→ Page 6), this does not mean that you
have eliminated the fault.
3.
If the inverter or display fails completely, call a compet-
ent person.
4.
If a fault occurs more than five times or you cannot
eliminate the fault, call a competent person.

Caring for the product

Clean the casing with a damp cloth and a little solvent-
free soap.
Do not use sprays, scouring agents, detergents, solvents
or cleaning agents that contain chlorine.
