Cause
A fault occurs during the self-test, the self-
test has been stopped.
After a firmware update, the various software
versions in the inverter are no longer com-
patible with each other.
After a firmware update, the various software
versions in the inverter are no longer com-
patible with each other.
–
The inverter has lost the time because it
was disconnected from the mains for too
long.
–
Yield data cannot be saved; event mes-
sages only with an incorrect date.
Cause
Alternating current installation not working prop-
erly.
Inverter defective.
Alternating current plug not working properly.
Insufficient power is available for the photovoltaic
generator.
Direct current plug not working properly.
Measure
Validity: Except for Italy
–
Ignore the message and delete the event
log.
Validity: Italy
–
Repeat the self-test after approx. 10
minutes or when there is a higher level
of sunlight.
–
If the self-test has been interrupted
again, check the country setting and
repeat the self-test.
–
If the self-test has been interrupted
again, check the alternating current
installation (utility connection).
–
If the self-test has been interrupted
again, call customer service.
If the message occurs more than five times,
contact customer service.
If the message occurs more than five times,
contact customer service.
–
Correct the date and time settings.
Measure
Check the alternating current installation (utility
connection):
–
Check the circuit breaker (fuse) and, if re-
quired, switch it on.
–
Check the residual-current circuit breaker
and, if required, switch it on.
If required, contact customer service.
Replace the inverter.
Check the alternating current plug:
–
Open the plug.
–
Ensure that the threaded connections are
mechanically and electrically faultless.
Check whether the following reasons are
present, for example, and eliminate these where
possible:
–
Snow on the photovoltaic modules
–
Shadows on the photovoltaic modules
–
Heavy clouds
–
Dawn/dusk or night
Check the direct current plug and, if required,
repair it:
–
Chafing or pressure points on direct current
cables
–
Alternating current connections
–
Crimping
Check whether transfer resistances arise due to
corrosion and eliminate these.
