3.1 Indications for use
The walking aid is a therapy device for the correction of postural problems.
Positioned behind the body (posterior), the walking aid is open to the front. Thus the walking aid promotes an
upright gait and permits a longer stride length and optimum forward freedom of movement (e.g. when approaching
furniture or for interaction with the surroundings).
The fixed front wheels promote hip stability. For direction changes, the walking aid must be lifted slightly so the
user has to bear weight. This helps children in particular to learn a physiological gait in a playful way, and the tend
ency to walk on tiptoe is reduced.
The reverse-roll locks on the rear wheels prevent the walking aid from rolling back.
The walking aid is intended for indoor use.
