To turn the Baby Alert alarm off:
- Follow the steps above. The display will show [Off?].
- Press the OK Key (3). The display will briefly show [Saved].
5.3.5. Vibrator
If the parent unit is in a very noisy environment, the user may not hear the sound
from the speaker. So the user can turn the vibrator on. The vibration signal is
not only triggered by the crying level higher than threshold value, but will also be
triggered by out of range warning and temperature alert as well.
To set this, at the Parent Unit:
- Press the Menu Key (1)
- Use the Up/Down Keys (5 and 6) to scroll to [Vibrator].
- Press the OK Key (3). The display will show [On?].
- Press the OK Key ()3 to turn the vibrator on, or Menu Key (1) to exit without
change. Display briefly shows [Saved]. The vibrator is now on.
If you wish to turn the vibrator off:
- Press the Menu Key (1)
- Use the Up/Down Keys (5 and 6) to scroll to [Vibrator].
- Press the OK Key (3). The display will show [Off?].
- Press the OK (3) Key to confirm.
Note: The vibrator cannot vibrate when charging in the cradle.
5.3.6. Temperature
It is very important for your baby's health to ensure that they are a kept at a
safe temperature. Your Baby Monitor can help by displaying the current room
temperature on the Parent Unit and can even be set to alert you if the temperature
goes outside of a definable range.
5.3.6.1. Changing the temperature range
If you wish, you can set the upper and lower temperature limits of your Baby
Monitor so that if the temperature in the baby's room goes above or below your
pre−set range, the temperature displayed on the Parent Unit will flash and an
alert, if set, will sound. Additional 'High' or 'Low' is shown.
To set this, at the Parent Unit:
- Press the Menu Key (1)
