3.4. POWER CONSUMPTION
The power adapter plugs supplied fulfils the eco−design directive of the European
Council (Directive 2005/32/EC).
The power consumption is considerably lower than power adapter plugs of an
earlier design both in operating and standby modes.
3.5. BEFORE USE
Choose a suitable location
Place the baby unit away from televisions, TV signal boosters and radios. Strong
radio signals generated by these products may cause noise or even retransmitted
sounds on the Baby unit. If this happens move the baby unit to a different location.
The baby unit should be placed about 1 to 1.5 meters away from the baby's cot
on a flat surface. Never place the baby unit inside the cot, bed or playpen. Make
sure the unit, cords and mains adaptor are out of reach of the baby and other
young children.
