5.2.1. Volume
You can adjust the volume at which you hear your baby by using the Up/Down
Keys on the front of the Parent Unit (5 and 6 keys). This will not affect the
sensitivity of your Baby Monitor, only the volume at which you hear those sounds
through the Parent Unit.
5.2.2. Battery Charge indicator and battery low warning
Parent unit:
The Parent Unit charge level is indicated by battery icon on the Display.
The parent unit will work up to 8 hours when disconnected from the charger, but
this depends on the level of charge in the batteries.
If the charge runs low, a battery low warning 'beep' will sound and the battery icon
on the Parent Unit's will begin to flash. If this occurs you should return the Parent
Unit to the Charger Pod to recharge the batteries. You can still use your Parent
Unit from the Charger Pod.
On the display you can see the charge status:
= full capacity
= approximately half capacity
= batteries nearly exhausted
and frame flashes = batteries must be charged
Baby unit:
If you are using the baby unit with batteries and the charge becomes low, the LED
indicator (14) will begin to flash. The batteries need to be replaced.
Please note that if the night light is set to Off, the LED indicator (14) will be off
and it will not flash.
5.2.3. Sound alert
The parent unit can give an extra warning 'beep' when the noise levels in your
baby's room activate the light on the sound sensor (9). This is particularly useful
if the volume of your parent unit is turned down and you are just using the sensor
light (9) to monitor the noise levels in your baby's room.
Please see Setting section to set this in the parent unit.
