6. Remove two clevis pins that connect scrub head
to lift arms (Figure 49).
For Disc Scrub Head: Remove a third clevis pin
that connects scrub head to roller bracket
(Figure 49).
For Cylindrical brush Scrub Head: Remove socket
screw that connects scrub head to roller bracket,
use a 5/16" Allen wrench (Figure 49).
7. Pull scrub head away from machine.
8. Loosen the two mounting screws on the switch
box and align the corresponding scrub head
symbol, printed on the switch box, with the notch
in the spring bracket (Figure 49 – DETAIL).
Retighten screws after adjusting.
NOTE: If the switch box is not properly adjusted when
installing the Cylindrical brush scrub head, premature
brush wear will occur.
9. When changing to cylindrical brush scrub head
you must install squeegee swing stop screws,
17mm wrench and 8mm socket wrench required.
Remove screws when using the disc brush scrub
head (Figure 50).

10. Repeat steps in reverse order to install other scrub
head. Make sure leveling screw engages bracket
slot as shown (Figure 51).

CHARGING BATTERIES

To prolong the battery life, ONLY recharge the
batteries if discharged more than 15% of the capacity.
When discharged 15% or less, continue running the
machine before recharging.
Run Time Example: 15% discharge X 2.5 hours rated
total run time = 22 minutes.
The following charging instructions are intended
for chargers supplied with machine. Only use a
battery charger with the following specifications
to prevent battery damage.

NOTE: For optimum machine operation, keep
batteries charged at all times. Never leave batteries
discharged for lengthy periods.
WARNING: Keep Sparks And Open Flame
Away. Keep Battery Hood Open When Charging.
FOR SAFETY: When servicing machine, wear
protective gloves and safety glasses when
handling batteries and battery cables. Avoid
contact with battery acid.
1. Drive machine to a well–ventilated area for charging.
2. Park machine on a level surface, turn key off and
set parking brake, if equipped.
FOR SAFETY: Before leaving or servicing
machine, stop on level surface, turn off machine,
and set parking brake, if equipped.
3. Hinge open recovery tank to access battery
compartment.
NOTE: Drain recovery tank prior to accessing batteries.
4. Check fluid level (A) in each battery cell before
charging. If battery plates (B) are exposed, add
just enough distilled water to cover plates by
approximately 3 mm (0.13 in). DO NOT
OVERFILL. Overfilled batteries can overflow
during charging due to fluid expansion. Replace
cell caps before charging (Figure 52).
