HOW TO USE
ADJUSTING THE SHOULDER STRAP HEIGHT
NO - Too Low
NO - Too high
YES- Correct
Before using or installing the car seat, it is very important to make sure the shoulder straps
are positioned at the correct height for the child. They must be at the same level or slightly
lower than the child's shoulders.
The seat is equipped with slots at different heights to adjust the straps.
Place the child in the car seat and make sure the shoulder straps are positioned properly.
Winter or summer clothing can change the child's size.
Place the seat at floor level with the handle in the balanced position, see the "Adjusting the
handle" paragraph.
To adjust the height of the straps, take the child out of the seat and proceed as follows:
To loosen the harness, press button (fig.1a) with one hand and pull the shoulder straps (fig.1b)
outward with the other.
Press the red button in the middle of the central buckle, release the buckles (fig.2).
Pull both shoulder straps including the buckles out from the slots in the adjuster, seat cover
and shell (fig. 2).
It is not necessary to remove the shoulder belt from the belt yoke ring (fig.4)
There are pairs of slots in the shell to use based on the child's height.
Insert the straps through the selected slots, first through the slots in the shell, the seat cover,
the adjuster and the shoulder pads (fig.4, fig. 5).
Make sure the shoulder straps are not twisted and that the shoulder belt is properly inserted
into the belt yoke ring (Fig. 4, fig 6).
Now place the child in the seat, making sure the shoulder straps are adjusted properly
according to his/her height (Fig. 7).
IMPORTANT: To ensure better protection, the seat belt must be properly tightened. For proper
tightness, there should be no more than a finger-width of space between the child and the
harness.
