PLACING YOUR CHILD IN THE CAR SEAT

To loosen the harness, press button (fig.8a) with one hand and pull the shoulder straps (fig.8b)
towards you with the other.
Press the red button in the middle of the central buckle, release the buckles and position the
straps to the side (fig.9)
Place the child in the car seat and make sure the shoulder straps are positioned properly.
Join the plastic buckle tongue sections together and insert them into the crotch buckle. When
you hear a click, that means the buckle has been fastened properly (fig.10a, fig.10b).
Always make sure the buckle is properly fastened; it must not come undone when tugging on
the shoulder straps and the crotch strap (fig.11).
The straps (harness) must fit the child snugly without being uncomfortable. It is important for
the buckle to be below the child's pelvis and not on his/her stomach.
Make sure the shoulder and crotch pads are positioned properly.
Tighten the straps by pulling the adjuster belt (fig.12, fig.13) until the harness is properly
adjusted and the child is secured.
