In the third display (Fig. 42):
Field 1 displays the text ASC; and
Field 2 and 3 show up to a 8 digit accumulative vertical ascent since the last reset. Field 2 is activated when
the value of the vertical ascent is beyond the 3 digit value displayed in Field 3.
In the fourth display (Fig. 43):
Field 1 displays the text dSC;
Field 2 and 3 show up to a 8 digit accumulative vertical descent since the last reset. Field 2 is activated
when the value of the vertical descent is beyond the 3 digit value displayed in Field 3.
To clear the history of the logbook:
1. In any of the logbook history displays, PRESS the [Select] button and hold in for 2 seconds. Located in Field
1 is the text CLR; in Field 2 the text HIS; and in Field 3, nO will begin to flash (Fig. 44).
2. PRESS the [+] button to toggle between YES and NO.
3. PRESS the [Mode] button to accept the option YES.
The logbook history is erased and a new starting date is set to begin new cumulative measurements.
Note: If the user does not press any button for 1 minute in the setup mode, the display will automatically exit
setup.
We recommend that the logbook history be cleared prior to beginning the first logbook recording ever.
CHAPTER 5 BAROMETER MODE
The Suunto Wristop Computer Barometer function provides the user with:
an adjustable unit of measure mbar or inHg; mbar range 300 to 1,100 mbar, inHg range 8.90 to 32.40;
an adjustable sea level pressure function ranging from 27.25-30.80 inHg / 921-1,080 mbar
a resolution of 1 mbar or 0.05 inHg;
a one hour interval measuring to estimate barometric trend;
