SELF-DIAGNOSIS
With the engine running, press the hour meter/
voltmeter display select button 1 and the
speedometer display button 2 for 8 seconds
and check if an error code is indicated on the
multifunction meter.

01 No malfunction
13 Incorrect pickup coil signal
Incorrect engine temperature

If the Yamaha Diagnostic System is not used
to check the symptoms listed in the table, the
error codes can be checked easily with the
self-diagnosis in the multifunction meter. How-
ever, if there are numerous error codes dis-
played, be sure to check them with the
Yamaha Diagnostic System.
