•
Make sure that the gas pressure can not exceed the maximum allowed pressure. Refer to the product nameplate
located on the side of the unit.
•
Make sure that the equipment and the pipes are connected correctly for the occurring gas pressures.
•
Depressurize the Nitrogen tire filling system and the connected systems before you disconnect parts of the system.
The sudden escape of compressed gas can cause serious injury or damage.
•
HIGH PRESSURE NITROGEN. Bypassing, modifying or removing safety/relief valves can cause serious injury or
death. Do not bypass, modify or remove safety/relief valves. Do not direct gas stream at body.
•
HIGH PRESSURE NITROGEN. Rusted tanks can cause explosion and severe injury or death. Drain tank daily or
after each use. Drain valve located at bottom of tank.
•
RISK OF BURSTING. Use only suitable nitrogen handling parts acceptable for pressure of not less than the maxi-
mum allowable working pressure of the machine. Never modify or repair tank, obtain replacement from Service
Center.
The Nitrogen tire filling system generates nitrogen as a product. Oxygen enriched air is released as waste.
•
Nitrogen can cause suffocation!
•
Oxygen-enriched air leads to increased risk of fire in the event of contact with combustible products. Make sure
that there is adequate ventilation at all times!
•
The Nitrogen tire filling system is not designed for installation in an enclosed area.
•
Do not install the Nitrogen tire filling system in an area where explosive substances may be present.
•
Install in a well ventilated area.
•
Securely bolt tank units to the floor prior to using in order to prevent the unit from tipping.
•
Only feed the Nitrogen tire filling system with air.
•
Keep the air feed to the Nitrogen tire filling system clean and free of vapors of organic solvents and other contami-
nants. Do not place the Nitrogen tire filling system in a room where organic solvent vapours may occur in the air.
•
Keep the ambient temperature between 50 and 100 °F.
•
Install the peripheral equipment and piping according to standard procedures. Ingersoll-Rand cannot take respon-
sibility for equipment and plumbing installed by non-Ingersoll-Rand technicians.
•
Do regular maintenance to the Nitrogen tire filling system, to ensure proper and safe operation. Refer to chapter 8.
•
Make sure that instructions concerning health and safety are compliant with the local legislation and regulations.
