6.1 Assembling the Corner Steadies

Dismantling the existing stabilform steadies
Check that the height given is 10 mm on both
sides of the outrigger or chassis frame exten-
sions before fitting the steady (Fig. 2). If nec-
essary, mark the recess required, cut out
using suitable tools and apply suitable
weather protection (ie zinc galvanising
10mm
spray).
Slacken bolts on the AL-KO outriggers.
Fit Reinforcement plate
Slide the reinforcement plate along the AL-KO
outrigger, until the hole centres match the pro-
truding bolts in the floor. Press the plate onto
the caravan floor.

If the AL-KO outrigger becomes attached,
loosen the plate using a suitable tool (e.g.
knife). If necessary apply WD40 or similar.

Place the anti-tilt bush on the outrigger
bracket
