Fine Tuning the Polaris Cleaner

The s urface m odule f loats o n t he w ater's s urface r ecirculating c lean, f iltered w ater. T he s weep h ose a nd f ilter
bag move across the pool floor collecting dirt and debris.
Approximately every 15-25 seconds the Polaris will change directions.

If the Polaris changes directions too quickly,
adjust the pressure relief valve to slow the
cleaner.

Backwashing the Pool Filter
Always d isconnect t he P olaris f rom t he p ool w all b efore c leaning o r b ackwashing t he p ool f ilter. A fter c leaning
or backwashing, let the filtration system run for at least five minutes to flush out the return lines before
re-connecting the Polaris.
Storage and Winterizing

not c overed u nder t he w arranty). R emove t he s weep j et a ssembly f rom t he s weep h ose a nd s tore i t f lat. H ang

necessary to use the UWF Removal Tool (part #10-102-00) available from an authorized Polaris dealer.
