The structure of the contact force
control system is described in
Chapter 5.7.4.
Precondition:
The tool is disconnected from the compressed
air supply.
The necessary wrenches are on hand, see
Chapter 5.7.2.
1.
Loosen the grub screw.
2.
Remove the valve stop from the front sleeve.
3.
Loosen the union nut using the appropriate
wrench.

Remove the union nut together with the front
sleeve.
5.
Remove the trigger holder from the contact
force control adapter.
6.
Loosen and remove the contact force control
adapter using the appropriate wrench.
5 .7 .4 .2 Installing the contact force control
system
The structure of the contact force
control system is described in
Chapter 5.7.4.
Precondition:
The tool is disconnected from the compressed
air supply.
The necessary wrenches are on hand, see
Chapter 5.7.2.
1.
Push the contact force control adapter onto
the tool and tighten using the appropriate
wrench.
2.
Push the trigger holder onto the contact force
control adapter.
3.
Push the front sleeve into the union nut.
4.
Screw on the union nut together with the
front sleeve and tighten using the appropriate
wrench.
5.
Install the valve stop on the front sleeve as
shown in Figure i.
6.
Screw the valve stop on tightly using the grub
screw.
The contact force control system
has to be adjusted again before
use, see Chapter 5.7.4.3.
5 .7 .4 .3 Adjusting the contact force
control system
The structure of the contact force
control system is described in
Chapter 5.7.4.
Precondition:
The contact force control system is installed,
see Chapter 5.7.4.2.
The setting tool is connected to the com-
pressed air supply, see Chapter 3.5.
1. Insert the fastener into the nosepiece.
2. Position the fastener with the setting tool flush
and at right angles on the part.
3. Press the trigger.
A stroke is performed and the fastener is

set.
