6. Securing the Load Chain:
screws securing the chain (and pick up box,
when appropriate), to the chain hoist assembly
and the lower hook, or cargo gin, have been
properly secured and lubricated. Note: one a
year, substitute these screws by new screw whose
minimum quality must be Grade - 80.
7. Control System, Electric connections
and cables:
Check that the control system
(push-button) is in good condition, that electric
connections are tight enough, and that cables
have not been damaged (i.e. do not show
fissures, signs of wear, etc.)

8. Greasing the Denting of the rollers and
traction pinions of the trolley (chain hoists
with trolley):
K-2N20 or KPF-2N20 Regulations.
9. Greasing the cargo gin (chain hoists with
two sides):
grease port incorporated in the same.
10. Oil level:
position, release the cover of the clutch and check
that the oil is between 10 and 30 mm bellow the
thread of the clutch cover. The reducer is covered
by a joint at the crankcase which seals correctly,
avoiding oil leaks.
If the chain hoist is not properly used, and
the crankcase is removed for repair, or any
component is to be substituted, the oil to be
used must be in accordance with ISO-VG 1500
Regulation, or ISO-VG680.
11. Shifting Trolley and Beam (chain hoists
with trolley):
When
runway are free from obstacles and that they
are in good condition. Check that stops at both
sides of the beam have been fitted, are secure
and good contidion. Check that nuts and screws
of trolley have been properly tightened. Grease
the denting of the rollers and traction pinions of
the trolley. Check that the trolley works along
the whole of the beam.
12. Condition of the suspension hook (chain
hoist with hook):
in good condition, without cracks or grooves, or
notches, permanent distortion, severe corrosion,
deposits that cannot be eliminated, or signs of

10. ADJUSTMENT
