CAUTION!

Maintain the sensor regularly in
order to avoid over-metering in
the event of a sensor failure !

Please note the pertinent national
guidelines for service intervals!

Do not touch the electrodes or
bring them into contact with sub‐
stances containing grease!

Check the display value of the
sensor on the control device using
a suitable reference method (e.g.
DPD-1)
2.
If necessary, recalibrate the sensor
Sand sensor with emery
If the sensor cannot be calibrated then the
electrodes must be cleaned using the sup‐
plied emery.

With the sensor cap screwed on,
clean with the moistened emery
(package supplied) by rubbing with
circular movements
2.
Subsequently, the electrodes and
the visible part of the sensor cap
thread must be cleared of particles
clinging to them under a stream of
water

ð If rubbing down the electrodes
and replacement of the electro‐
lyte does not result in suc‐
cessful calibration under cor‐
rect calibration conditions then
the senor must be returned for
repairs
8.1
Replacement intervals
The electrolyte has a limited lifetime and
must be replaced as soon as the sensor
can no longer be calibrated.
We recommend you replace the reference
system every 2-3 years, but at the latest
when white and/or silver discolouration is
visible on the reference system. The refer‐
ence system can only be replaced by
ProMinent.
8.2
Repair
The sensor can only be repaired in the
works. Return it to us in its original pack‐
aging. Prepare the sensor for this, as
described above!
