ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS

Caution
The operator must be electrically connected to the electronic
device by specialised personnel only, following the instructions
supplied with the electronic device.
The electronic device may be installed inside the casing, using
the pre-drilled holes.
To connect the electrical control and safety devices, follow the
indications in the wiring diagram.
If, during opening or closing, the electric motor of the hydraulic unit
is functioning but the beam does not
move, proceed as follows:
– turn OFF the power supply;
– check all the electrical connections;
– if necessary, reverse the polarity of the electric motor.

CHECKING CORRECT ASSEMBLY

1 - Before moving the bar, loosen the vent screw of the hydraulic
control unit.
2 - When the beam is moving, check the closing force at the
tip of the beam.
Caution
The thrust force must not exceed 150N (15 Kg).
If necessary, adjust the operator working pressure.
3 - Check that the beam movement is smooth and linear, especially
when closing. If necessary, adjust the bal-ancing springs and
the fl ow regulator (ZT60 only).
4 - Check, with the beam in the closed position, that the swinging
tip support (if used) is not resting on but barely touches the
ground.
5 - Check, with the beam in the closed position, that the beam is
not resting on the support fork (if used).
Information
For correct adjustment, use the mechanical limit switches.

ADJUSTING THE WORKING PRESSURE

Information
Correct adjustment of the pressure contributes to smooth
movement of the barrier and prevents kickback.
1 - Bring the beam to the closed position and turn OFF the power
supply.
2 - Open the inspection port and release the hydraulic unit, by
turning the knob by 90° in an anti-clockwise direction.
