3.1

PRELIMINARY CONTROLS AND WARNINGS

Before beginning installation, the following controls must be made:

–

The area must be sufﬁ ciently wide for the length of the beams during opening

and closing (see diagram).

–

If the area is not wide enough, use the articulated beam (ZT64 only).

–

The ground must be ﬁ rm and even, especially in the area the components are

to be installed resting on the ground.

–

When using long beams, ﬁ t the support fork or the swinging tip support.

Information

The fork and the hinged foot shall not be used as horizontal locking device

of the bar. Under normal conditions, the bar stops at 20 to 30 mm from the

limit stop on the fork or the ground.

3.2 INSTALLING THE OPERATOR

1 - Make a hole in the ground to house the mounting

plate.

2 - Make a casting, using high quality cement and

position the mounting plate perfectly level with the

ground or slightly raised above the ground. Do the

same for the fork support plate (if used).

Caution

The foundations must be able to support the weight

of the operator; the ground conditions must also

be taken into account.

3 - Set up a duct for the power supply cables.

4 - Position the operator with the inspection port facing

the inside of the private area and secure it to the

mounting plate using the nuts.
