6 - Adjust the pressure of the springs, using the nuts,
until the beam is bal-anced. If necessary, also
adjust the screw for the spherical articulation.
Information
The beam is perfectly balanced when, from any
position, it tends to stabilise at approximately
45° .
7 - Close the beam by hand.
8 - Block the hydraulic unit, by turning the knob by 90°
in a clockwise direction.
3.4 ADJUSTING THE DESCENT USING A
FLOW REGULATOR (ZT60 ONLY)
The fl ow divider allows for a smooth and linear motion
during the descent and, together with the spring, is an
essential part of the balancing system.
1 - Turn OFF the power supply.
2 - Open the inspection port and turn the regulator
knob. Turn it in a clockwise direction to reduce
the descent speed or turn it in an anti-clockwise
direc-tion to increase the descent speed.
Caution
Do not set the fl ow divider to maximum closing
position. The bar down-motion could be blocked,
the hydraulic control unit would be submitted to
useless efforts and oil could overheat.
3 - Close the port and turn ON the power supply.
4 - Check that the beam descent is correct. Repeat
adjustment, if necessary.
3.5 ADJUSTING THE MECHANICAL
LIMIT SWITCHES
1 - Open the inspection port and release the hydraulic
unit, by turning the knob by 90° in an anti-clockwise
direction.
2 - Lift the beam by hand to establish the opening
limit switch.

Warning
In these conditions, the beam is not blocked and
may fall.
