More often than not, the only time you will need to operate your sound level meter keys is
when you are calibrating the instrument. Once the instrument is connected to Type 3638 A/B's
controller, sound level measurements will be automatically regulated.
Accessories
The following accessories are included in Type 3638 A/B's carrying case:
• 5 m extension cable for microphone
• Microphone Holder Type UA 1254 to maintain recommended distance from sound source –
used with high-sitting exhaust systems, for example, motorcycles
• Cullman Type 2701 Mini-magic Tripod to position microphone on the ground
• Tape measure to ensure microphone placement according to applicable regulations or
standards
• External DC battery charger to recharge the Type 3638 A/B's battery when needed
