Remember to place the deviator on "outlet below seat)
(fig.4) and if necessary to close the mixer (mod. ELT 3).
NOTE
When the Turkish bath is complete, do not turn off the main
switch (located upstream from the shower box) for at least
two minutes, as this would prevent washing and emptying
of the boiler. If the function is interrupted due to a power
outage, the boiler remains filled with water and will not be
emptied until the next cycle. In these cases, especially if the
Turkish bath is used infrequently, it is advisable to reset the
function (when the electricity comes back on) and to turn it
back off after a few minutes, allowing time for the system to
empty.
If the water supply is cut off, the water in the boiler will drop
below a safe level. The heater will deactivate automatically
and the function will go into alarm status (buzzer and re-
maining time flashing) for about 2 minutes. If water is not
added to the tank, after these 2 minutes the function is shut
down.
the steam, obtained by boiling water, leaves
the outlets at a temperature of nearly 100 °C.
Therefore, keep legs away from the steam out-
let trajectory during the Turkish bath, or oth-
erwise at least 40 cm away from the outlets.
Scale removal cycle
The shower box is equipped with a function which, thanks to the
cleaning action of a special agent ("ActiClean Cal"), keeps the boil-
er free of any scale build-up. "ActiClean Cal" is available at au-
thorized Jacuzzi
®
technical service centres. One package is how-
ever provided with the shower box.
To guarantee that the boiler is cleaned, it is essential to run
a scale-removal cycle once every 20-25 Turkish bath cycles.
The total duration of the cycle is about 10 hours. During this time,
all shower box functions can be used, with the exception of the
Turkish bath. After 20 Turkish bath cycles, when it is activated the
display shows the message "CALC" flashing for about 3 seconds.
This means that the boiler cleaning cycle needs to be run. If the
cleaning cycle is postponed (over 30 Turkish bath cycles), the Turk-
ish bath command is no longer accepted and the message
"CALC" stays on steady for a few seconds.
• (fig. 1)
Using the specific product and the bottle provided, pre-
pare the scale removal liquid by pouring the contents of the en-
velope into about three-quarters of a litre of water, and mix.
• (fig. 2)
Making sure that the shower enclosure is powered, hold
down the indicated key for about 3 seconds: the LED begins to
flash, indicating the start of the cleaning cycle.
• (fig. 3)
Remove the lid from the spout on the panel and pour
the liquid into the opening (the position of the opening depends
on the model, and can be either horizontal or vertical).
This operation must be carried out within about two minutes,
so the that the cycle can continue, and will be confirmed by the
LED in fig. 2, which will stay on steady.
When the 10 hours are up, the boiler is emptied and rinsed (mes-
sage "SC" on the display and LED flashing).
At this point, the scale-removal cycle has ended: when the LED
on the display stops flashing and its light stays on, the Turkish
bath can once again be used.
NOTE
After the scale removal cycle, the counter for the number of
Turkish baths is reset to zero and the display will no longer
show the message "CALC" (until the twentieth Turkish bath).
The scale removal cycle cannot be performed if water func-
tions have been activated via the display.
During the scale removal cycle, if you attempt to start the
Turkish bath, the command will not be accepted and the dis-
play will show the flashing message "AC on".
A battery ensures that the cycle will proceed even if there is
a power outage. For example: the scale removal cycle has been
running for 3 hours, when there is a power outage. If the pow-
er outage lasts for a length of time which, when added to the
previously mentioned 3 hours, is less than 10 hours, the cy-
cle will start up again for the remaining time (e.g. 3 hours of
cycle + 5 hours of power outage = 8 hours, therefore 2 hours
of cycle remain). If instead the sum is equal to or greater than
10 hours, the draining and rinsing phase starts immediately.
