The START! shower boxes are composed of:
Tray (if requested): installation is intended in a corner, on
finished and covered walls (but with no skirting board, mould-
ing, or protuberances) or by setting the tray under the tiles.
Versions are offered with a low edge (3.5 cm) and with a high
edge (9 cm). The tray can be completed with a wood foot-
board (optional).
Glass shower closure (
same time as the tray, or it can be inserted afterwards. It can
also be installed with no tray, directly on the floor.
Multi-function panel (if requested)(

Glass panel supports: as an alternative to the panel, the
glass panels can be installed with a support/fastening sys-
tem made of aluminium tubes, which is attached to the wall

Assembly and installation of the various elements of S-
tart! must be carried out by two persons. Be sure to use pro-
tective gloves.

To assemble the various components in the correct way, the
walls of the installation corner must be straight. Wall com-
pensators let you recover off-square defects by up to 10 mm.

Before starting

Before proceeding with installation, check that all the relevant
pre-installation operations have been carried out; see the
technical card for this.
If the water supply system is equipped with an instant
water heater, check that this is powerful enough. For
gas models, we recommend that you use the models
with variable power in relation to the volume of water
drawn off.
Remember to turn off the stop tap every time after u-
se. In areas of very hard water it is necessary to install
a scale-remover in the water system, to prevent and/or
reduce the formation of scale.

Installing the shower tray
For installation of the shower tray, refer to the instructions in
the package.
IMPORTANT: the dimensions shown for connection
to the hot and cold water system refer to the installed
shower tray.
Installation of front and side glass panels
Before proceeding with the following assembly phases, it
is advisable to protect the shower tray from any falling ob-
jects and/or abrasion.
Installation of compensator "A" or of profile "A1"

1) Set the compensator/profile on the tray at a distance
of 16 mm from the outer edge.
Mark the exact position on the tray.

( det.1 ) Place the spirit level on the side of the compen-
sator/profile and check that it is vertical.
I
(det.2) Through the holes, mark the points for holes for fas-
tening.
I
(det.3) Move the compensator/profile away from the wall,
drill the holes and insert the plugs.
I
(det.4) Put the compensator/profile back on the tray,
matching its edge with the mark and check that it is perfect-
ly vertical. Then fasten it with the screws.
NB: The distance of the aluminium profile and of the com-
pensators is to be measured from the upper edge of the tray,
not from the lower one.

1 ) Set the compensator "A" on the aluminium profile
"A1", check levelling and the distance of 16 mm from the edge
of the tray. Fasten the compensator "A" on the profile "A1" with
the self-tapping screws.
Installing compensator "B"

1) Set the second compensator on the tray at a dis-
tance of 16 mm from the external border.
Mark the exact position on the tray.

(det.1) Place the spirit level on the side of the compensator
and check that it is vertical.

(det.2) Mark the spots for drilling on the wall through the
slots, for fastening.
I
(det.3) Move the compensator away from the wall, drill the
holes and insert the plugs.
I
( det.4) Put the compensator back on the tray, matching
its edge with the mark and check that it is perfectly vertical.
Then fasten it with the screws.
Installation of fixed glass panel "A"

2) Mark on the tray the distance for fastening the glass
panel, 15 mm.
WARNING! Depending on the type of installation of
the shower tray (above or below the tiles), the mea-
surement for fastening the glass panel (15 mm) al-
ways refers to the edge of the tray.
