ICEROSS SEAL-IN
LINER SIZING :
To determine the correct Iceross size:
1. Measure the circumference of the residual limb at 4cm from the dis-
tal end with the tissue hanging down.(Figure A)
2. Choose the Iceross size, which corresponds to the measurement or
which, is immediately below the indicated measurement.
3. DO NOT choose a liner size, which exceeds the measurement, or
round up.
EXAMPLE: If the residual limb measures 31cm at the indicated location,
choose size 30 NOT size 32.
PROFILE:
Measure and record the circumference of the residual limb at the level of
the perineum, refer to the horizontal axes
Selecting the correct size is very important.
If the liner is too tight:
• Pistoning and/or numbness and blistering may occur.
• The seals can produce excessive ring tension to the residual limb.
If the liner is too loose:
• Increased perspiration and/or movement of the limb inside the liner
may occur.
• Perspiration and movement can lead to blisters and rashes.
