El cometido de Ibiza Family Magazine en N&D no
es otro que descubrir esa isla generalmente oculta
al visitante y en la que moran planes para toda la
familia: teatro, excursiones por el campo, playas family
friendly...
Así que en esta ocasión os traemos una propuesta muy
familiar y muy teatral.
Santa Eulària d'es Riu es sin duda el municipio que
abandera en la isla el turismo familiar y lo cierto es

que sus propuestas culturales y de ocio acompañan

esta tendencia. En el Teatro España es fácil encontrar
propuestas de programación para toda la familia. Los

museos de la localidad son algunos de los más divertidos

para visitar en familia. Es el caso del Musseu Etnogràfic,
ubicado en Es Puig de Missa o el Centro de Interpretación
E
del Río de la localidad (el único de toda la isla).

El Musseu Etnogràfic se encuentra en una antigua casa

payesa de nombre Can Ros. La propia casa es un buen
ejemplo de arquitectura rural ibicenca, con el "porxo"

(sala principal), la cocina, las diferentes habitaciones, el
molino de aceite, el balcón, el pozo y la cisterna.

Además, el museo cuenta con una exposición permanente,

con grandes elementos de la época.

Durante el mes de mayo (este año del 19 al 22) se celebra
el Festival de Teatro Familiar Barruguet.

El festival llenará la localidad de magia, sueños y mucho

teatro. La principal novedad es que la muestra se convierte
en internacional con la participación de una compañía de

teatro de Dinamarca, Limfjordsteatret, que presentará su

'Don Q', una versión de teatro sin texto del "Quijote". Una
propuesta que servirá, además, como pequeño homenaje

en que se celebran los 400 años de la muerte de Miguel
de Cervantes.

En el resto de las sesiones participarán 17 compañías.
Las actuaciones se celebrarán en el Teatro España, la Sala

de Exposiciones, el Palacio de Congresos y las principales
calles de Santa Eulalia.

The role of the Ibiza Family Magazine in N&D is simply
to discover that side of the island that is usually hidden
to the visitor, where there are plenty of things to do
for the whole family: theater performances, walks
through the countryside, family friendly beaches...
Therefore this time we're offering you a very family and theatrical
proposal.
Santa Eulària des Riu is definitely the town that is ideal as a
family tourism destination, and the truth is that its cultural and
recreational activities go with this trend. At Teatro España it's
easy to find various programs for the whole family. Even the local
museums are among the most enjoyable places to visit with
the family. It's the case of the Museu Etnogràfic (Ethnographic
Museum), located on Es Puig de Missa or the Centro de
Interpretación del Río de Santa Eulària, (Interpretation Centre),
the only one on the island.
The Museu Etnogràfic is housed in an old country house
called Can Ros. The house itself is a good example of rural
architecture of Ibiza, with the "porxo" (main room), the kitchen,
the different bedrooms, the oil mill, the balcony, the well and
the cistern.
In addition, the museum has a permanent exhibition, with
important artifacts of the time.
May is also the month of the Festival de Teatro Familiar
Barruguet (this year from 19th to 22nd May).
The festival will fill up the town with magic, dreams and a
lot of theater performances. The main novelty is that the
exhibition becomes international with the participation of
a Danish theater company, Limfjordsteatret, which will
perform 'Don Q', a theater version without the text of "Don
Quixote". This is a proposal that will also represent a tribute
to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the death of Miguel de
Cervantes.
The remaining sessions will see 17 companies perform.
The performances will be held at Teatro España, the Exhibition
Hall, the Convention Centre and on the main streets of Santa
Eulalia.
