INSTALLING THE KIT

! make sure that the multimeter and the computer are switched off
! remove the rod at the back of the multimeter
! with the stand remove the cover hiding the fuse and the battery of the
multimeter
! replace the waterproof diaphragm of the set fuse/battery by the clear one
joined with the kit
! install the adapter on the multimeter, to replace the cover
! connect the adapter 25-pin connector to the COM1 or COM2 serial port on
the computer
