SRL Test Procedure

Attaching the SRL to the Tripod

(1) Attach a steel carabiner to the top of the SRL and connect it to the
load cell (Merit Service Program) or closed end of the special
snaphook on the Tripod (Merit Lite Program).
(2) Adjust the weight to 282lbs (128kg). Attach the SRL to the weight
assembly with a carabiner through the thimble by the SRL's
snaphook. Do not attach the carabiner to the SRL's snaphook; this
will deploy the load indicator when tested.
(3) Attach the quick-release to the weight assembly.
