Reassembly
7.1
Cable Subassembly
NOTE:
Before disposing of the old cable assembly, assess if the RFID tag is working properly. If so, salvage
the component. If not, replace with a new tag.

When replacing the cable assembly refer to section 2 Exploded Views of this manual.
NOTE:
Ensure a tight fit between thimble, RFID, and ferrule.
(2)
Follow standard cable assembly procedures.
7.2
Drum Subassembly
(1)
When replacing the drum assembly refer to section 2
Exploded Views of this manual.
NOTE:
If reusing the existing brake assembly and the sperrad
needs to be replaced, unscrew the sperrad from the pawl plate
and install new sperrad. Apply Loctite 263 to M4 flat screws and
torque to 1.9nm.

Place end of cable into terminal slot found on hub.
(3)
Prewrap 2 loops and press the second loop into reserve life-
line location. Pull to remove slack.
(4)
Place side plate onto hub assembly and tighten screws.
(5)
Place adhesive disc-wear pad over side plate.
(6)
Wrap cable onto drum subassembly by hand.
(7)
Place back in fixture.
(8)
Set aside and prepare upper frame subassembly.
