Stop the pump
•
Set the engine switch (Fig. 12/1) to position "0". This action also closes the fuel valve.
•
Set the de-aeration button (Fig. 11/1) on the fuel cap in the "OFF" position.
5.6
Switch to Eco setting
Refer to Fig. 14.
•
Set the switch (3) in the "No Eco" position (1) to deactivate the Eco setting.
The maximum engine speed is maintained continually.
•
Set the switch in the "Eco" position (2) to activate the Eco setting.
The engine speed increases automatically to maximum speed when a tool is operated. When the
tool is no longer being used, the engine speed reverts to the nominal speed. This restricts noise
production and fuel consumption to a minimum.
5.7
Watch the LED indicator panel
Refer to Fig. 15.
5.7.1
Engine oil level
The pump has a level switch that stops the engine automatically if:
•
The engine oil level is too low.
•
The pump is leaning over at an angle greater than 20° with respect to the horizontal surface.
When the engine stops by activation of the level switch, the red LED (1) will light up for a while. If you
attempt to restart the engine, the red LED will light up again.
5.7.2
Overheating
The pump has a temperature sensor.
•
If overheating is imminent, the engine will only run at nominal speed and the red LED (2) will blink.
•
If the maximum temperature is exceeded, the engine stops and the red LED will light up for some
time.
5.7.3
Service interval
The pump has an indicator that shows when the service interval has exceeded. When this time has
passed, the green LED (3) will blink. Contact the Holmatro dealer about maintenance for the pump.
5.8
Relief the pressure in unconnected hoses and tools
5.8.1
General
Temperature differences can cause overpressure in unconnected hoses and tools. This overpressure
can make it impossible to connect the parts. You can use the pressure relief tool to remove this
overpressure. This accessory is available for all Holmatro hose systems and is supplied by default with
every pump.
NOTICE
We recommend you keep more than one of these tools on hand.
5.8.2
CORE™ couplers
Refer to Fig. 10.
•
Hook the pressure relief tool over the male coupler (1).
