Hydraulic hoses

Clean the hose with luke warm water and a mild soap solution.
Check the hose for damage and leaks. Replace the hose if it leaks, has kinks, the reinforced cover
is visible or it has blisters or bulges higher than 1 mm. In case of doubt always contact the Holmatro
dealer who can assess the seriousness of the damage.
Replace the hose no later than 10 years after the date of manufacture, regardless of its use and
external appearance. The date of manufacture is part of the test code, the first 4 digits of the test
code specify the date of manufacture of the hose (yymm*****).

Install the dipstick and tighten it firmly.
Put back the service panel on the pump and fasten it with the screw (Fig. 5/1).

Air filter

Clean or replace the air filter element every year. Frequent usage in dusty and sandy situations can
make it necessary to clean or replace the air filter sooner. Spare air filters are available at Holmatro.
A dirty air filter limits the air flow causing the engine to run less efficient.
CAUTION
Never start the pump without the air filter.
Remove the air filter
Remove the screw (Fig. 5/1) and remove the service panel (Fig. 5/2) from the pump.
Remove the screw (Fig. 18/4) and remove the air filter cover (Fig. 18/3).
Remove both filter elements (Fig. 18/2) from the air filter holder (Fig. 18/1). Clean if necessary.
