BATTERY
Check the charge of the battery by
measuring the voltage with a voltmeter
while the battery is at rest (engine off).
The voltage must not be less than 12.8 V.
There is no need to check the level of the
electrolyte or top up with water.
Keep the battery terminals clean. If nec-
essary, protect them with a thin fi lm of
acid-free grease.
