Turning the system on and off
Verify that the hospital supply voltage corresponds to the power supply voltage
WARNINGS
Plug the system only into a grounded hospital-grade outlet.
Use only power cords provided by FUJIFILM SonoSite with the system.
The system can be powered by the internal battery or by AC power.
To turn the system on
1 If you are operating the system using AC power, connect the AC power cord to the stand, and then
connect the AC power cord to a hospital-grade outlet.
2 Press the power button.
The power button turns green when the system is ready for scanning.
Do not use the system if an error message appears on the clinical monitor. Note

When using AC power, position the system to allow easy access to disconnect it.
Connect the system to AC power to maintain battery charge, especially if the system will not be used for
several days.

Restarting the system while it is performing data-intensive background activities,
such as transferring patient files, can result in loss of patient data. FUJIFILM
SonoSite recommends waiting at least three minutes before restarting an
unresponsive system. To power down an unresponsive system, press and hold
the Power button until the system shuts down. This procedure may take five
seconds or longer.
