(Model 121 B / 129 B / 129 BTS)
For installing the upper grip support (2), first
remove the center bolt (3) and the washer from
the lower grip support. When assembling, the
upper grip support with the dual grip is placed
on the lower grip support, the right side of the
dual grip should be attached to the grip support
as closely as possible.

Bicycle Handlebar Adjustment
Note: Handlebar is correctly adjusted when the
middle of the unit can be aligned with the
worker's body. The arms should be slightly bent
when working. In this position, the upper grip
support is to be engaged in the teeth of the
lower grip support. Then tighten the center bolt
(3).
Caution! Under no circumstances
is the cable connection (throttle
control cable and stop cable) to
be under tension - engine idle may
not be possible. Always check that the idle
position of the throttle on the carburetor is free
and is only moved when accelerating.
Otherwise, there is a danger of accidents due
to moving attachment.
Installing debris shield (Model 117)

The entire assembly (shield, flange and
trimmer head) is partially assembled when
shipped. Attach clamp (1) with alignment lug
facing up toward the end of the tube and
lock into alignment hole (2).
While holding this clamp with one hand, use
the other hand to push the flange from the
bottom up onto the tube while gently
rotating the flange until the square shaft nut
sets in place and all holes are aligned (3).
Insert both nuts into shield. Attach shield
from rear and hold - attach front clamp and
secure simultaneously.
Installing thread cutter

Install thread cutter (1) only when using string
head and secure with bolt M5x25 (2).
Installing the debris shield

(Model 121 / 129)
With the metal blades of model 121/129, the
shield is attached to the shaft tube with 2 clamps
(1). The extra long bolts (2) will extend beyond
the bottom of the shield (safety against twisting).
When installing a string head, it is necessary to
insert the connecting piece (3) with 2 bolts
M5x55 between the lower clamp and the
shield. The extra long bolts (4) will extend
beyond the bottom of the connecting piece.
The line-limiter (5) is installed on the shield.

Turn the anti-clogging device (2) so that the gap
for the holding pin (1) matches with the gap in
the anti-clogging device (2). Insert in holding pin
(1) and block shaft.
Screw string head by hand onto the shaft (right
hand thread) and tighten (clockwise).
Reverse procedure for disassembly.
Center the blade onto the anti-clogging device
(2) and place it on the splined drive shaft (3).
Install pressure plate (4) and tighten with the
nut protector (5), washer (6), and lock nut (7).

Turn arbor shaft (1) with pressure plate (2) so
that the gap for the holding pin (3) matches the
gap in the anti-clogging device (4) resp. the gear
housing.
Center the blade onto the disc (5) and place it
on the splined drive shaft (1). Install the nut
protector (6), and tighten with washer (7), and
lock nut (8).
Attention: Left hand thread! (counter-clockwise)
Place holding pin (3) above anti-clogging-device
(4) on the pressure plate (2). Block shaft and
tighten nut (8).
