When separating the shaft, it is necessary to
remove the tension screw (1) - unlock the fixed
pin (2) by pulling it - and remove the lower shaft
tube half with the drive shaft out of the clutch
sleeve.
During assembly, the shaft in the lower section
of the shaft tube must mesh with the square
upper part of the drive shaft. If necessary, the
cutting attachment may need to be slightly
turned.
When the fixed pin (2) engages the shaft tube's
bore you will hear a click. Then tighten tension
screw (1).
When transporting a brushcutter in
a vehicle, pay special attention that
fuel does not spill.
The fuel tank should be completely emptied for
extended storage or shipping.
When moving from one work area to another,
it is necessary to shut-off the engine. When the
brushcutter is transported and the carrying strap
is not used, it is necessary to secure the metal
cutting blade from contact (illustration 10).
