► Add fuel without spilling any and stop at least 15 mm short
of the fuel tank brim.
► Place the fuel tank cap on the fuel tank.
► Turn the fuel tank cap clockwise and hand tighten.
The fuel tank is sealed.

8.1

Adjusting the Handlebar Height

The handlebar can be adjusted to five different height
settings.
► Stop the engine.
► Place the tiller on a level surface.
► Hold handlebar (1) with one hand on handle (2).
► Press lever (3) downwards with the other hand and hold.
► Move handlebar (1) into the desired position.
► Release lever (3).
The handlebar is engaged.

Adjusting the Handlebar Laterally

The handlebar can be adjusted laterally to three positions.
► Stop the engine.
► Place the tiller on a level surface.

► Hold handlebar (1) with one hand on one of the two
handles (2).
► Pull lever (3) upwards with the other hand.
► Move handlebar (1) into the desired position.
► Release lever (3).
The handlebar is engaged.
